Engagement Controls That Change a Session-Level Comparison
Abstract
The question concerns within-file purchase association conditional on observed engagement. The secondary ordinary least squares analysis contains 12,330 observations and uses HC3 covariance. The coefficient on log_duration is 1.191e-04, with a 95 percent interval from -0.0059 to 0.0062. Adding duration and exit measures changes the conditioning set and information available in the comparison. It does not identify the effect of making a user stay longer. Sequential allocation and knowledge-gradient utility motivate evaluating review choices after those features are observed. The present within-file projection has not run such a policy or measured the value of its next observation. The estimates describe the released collection and its conditioning set. No new data collection, simulator experiment, or deployment-policy evaluation is claimed.
